2 Timothy 4:5

Church Ministry Association

(Appointed by God)

2 Timothy 4:5 recognizes three levels of ministry

Anyone can be a CMA ministry partner.

Licensing, Mentorship or Eldership

The Bible speaks nothing of ministry licensure therefore we do not license ministers. However, Jesus and the Apostles provided mentorship as a means of allowing for the gifts of God to be developed and acknowledged. The Apostle Paul also appointed or selected elders or seasoned believers. 2Timothy45 allows a mentorship for those who do not meet its requirements of ordination acknowledgment.

1) Believers seeking to be recognized as a newly ordained minister  2) Ordained ministers seeking to join the CMA

2Timothy45 provides an online ordination acknowledgment application for those seeking to receive non-denominational credentials from the Church Ministry Association.

Jesus said "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit" John 15:16

We take the responsibility of ordination very seriously. We recognize that online ordination mills have abused this Biblical calling. Both ordination and minister affiliation requires diligence on our part (1 Timothy 5:22) before a minister receive ordination acknowledgment. We do not recognize wedding officiant as a Biblical calling so if your purpose for ordination is just to perform weddings, we do not acknowledge this as a ministry calling but rather a holy part of a minister’s duties.
